How do I start the process:

• Call our reception staff and request an information pack and / or book to attend our FREE online Information Seminar.
• Organise a GP referral to see Dr Wright
• Call our reception staff to book an appointment.

When you come for your appointment, remember to bring the following:

• GP referral
• Medicare and health fund details
• Copies of any relevant operation records, medical records, x-rays, MRIs, CT scans and blood results.
• Awareness of how you intend to pay for surgery:
  • Before your appointment check with your health fund to see if you are covered for Bariatric Surgery
  • If your are covered how will you pay for the out-of-pocket costs – will you be using your superannuation or private funds?
  • If you are not covered by a health fund will you be using your superannuation or private funds to cover the entire cost of the surgery?
• It is good to have an idea of when you would like to have surgery considering work and family commitments
